Silent Retreats FAQs

  • In 2024 the retreat takes place in a peaceful, scenic setting in the Northern part of Zealand at Comwell Borupgaard in Snekkersten.

    The address is Nørrevej 80, 3070 Snekkersten.

    It is only 3 min. walk from Snekkersten Train Station.

  • Here is a taster of what you will experience in the retreats:

    * Short mindful exercises to calm your nervous system, which you can take home with you and practice going forward in your life, both at work and when you have time off.

    * Guiding of various light body exercises and meditations, yoga, breathing, relaxation and other mindfulness exercises. Everyone can participate.

    * Mindful walks in nature

    * Short theory about the prevention of stress

    * Silence for about 4 hours, where you are gently guided to be more aware of yourself and your nervous system's needs (for safety and calm) on a deeper level

    * Nano presentation about the healing power of presence inspired by, among other things Eckhart Tolle, Jon Kabat-zin, and more.

    * Serving of a light breakfast, a delicious lunch, afternoon cake and coffee /tea and fresh water available throughout the entire day.

    * Socializing with like-minded people in a cozy group (max. 20 participants)

  • * Have you had too much on your mind lately and need to “get out of your head” and more “into your body”?

    * Are you the type of person who is hard on yourself ? or

    * Do you just need a break from your every day life? This is a chance for self-care.

    * Maybe you are you self-employed and/or a manager with great responsibility and/or great ambitions and find it difficult to relax, both when you are working and when you are off work?

    * Do you feel stressed or have you previously had a breakdown with stress, perhaps even several times?

    * Do you have physical or mental symptoms that you know represent alarm symptoms from your body that there has been too much to do lately?

    * Are you interested in growth or personal deveopment and want to learn how to focus better or even increase your awareness?

    If you can answer yes to one or even just a few of these questions and if you are 16 years of age or more, this retreat might be something for you.

  • The intention with these Silent Retreats is to create a calm and safe environment around you, so that your nervous system can calm down.

    The biggest benefit is learning to cultivate a deeper sense of inner peace, mindfulness and self-awareness.

    You will, among other things be introduced to exercises and methods that can lower your heart rate, quiet the mind, reduce stress and develop insight.

    You can choose to use these methods and exercises going forward in your life both privately and at work.

  • * A light breakfast, a delicious lunch, afternoon tea/coffee and cake

    * Fresh water, juices, fruits and snacks for breaks

    *A Yoga mat and blanket for free use

    * Teaching and guidance by medical doctor and mindfulness instructor Charlotte Søeberg in collaboration with Charlott Krum a competent, experienced and caring yogainstructor.

  • After the Retreat you can buy access to the Spa for a special price - only DKK 200 per person. If you want to book an overnight stay at the Hotel, the price is DKK 1100 without dinner and DKK 1500 incl. a 3 course dinner. If you want a double room, the price is DKK 700 extra.

    Transportation is for your own expense.

  • I can highly recommend the Silent Retreat in Høllviken with Charlotte Søeberg and her team. All three competent each in their field. Nice program with a good balance between theory, exercises and yoga, all guided calmly and clearly. For me, a restorative day after a very busy period and I felt totally recharged in both body and soul. Thank you. All supported by the beautiful place and the most beautiful surroundings as well as delicious nutritious meals. Nice overall experience
